LINDSAY:

The top of my left foot got sore. I looked it up and I guess it can be from over pronating, and from tying your shoes too tight. (found from this website http://running.competitor.com/2013/05/injury-prevention/injuries-that-arent-injuries_72338/3), which shoes how to tie your shoes using the latter method on this site (http://runnersconnect.net/running-injury-prevention/how-to-lace-your-running-shoes/). The latter method is supposed to relieve some stress from on top of your foot. We will see if it works. Gold's Gym had a health fair on Saturday that I went to and they did a foot scan on me and the guy told me that I pronate on my left foot and that I have high arches. Actually he said that I have the best arches he's ever seen - no joke, he really said that. I don't know what that means, but whatever, my foot hurts and that sucks. He didn't give me any advice about what shoes to get because he was a chiropractor and just wanted to "adjust" my foot. I took a quiz from this website http://www.runnersworld.com/shoe-finder/shoe-advisor to find out what kind of shoe to get. The chiropractor did tell me that where I only have a problem with the left that it was tricky but that I shouldn't get shoes that correct pronation. I selected a cheaper pair that I found. New Balance 890v2! They should be coming in within the next week! Hopefully they help me to be able to train!
